During my working like , I was once staying in Djibouti , at the only decent Hotel , a Sheraton , the Canadians had a presnce there , mainly aircraft helping with problems in Ethiopia , this place is one of the hottest on earth , one very late evening I was sitting by the pool , a group of male canadians were were in one group , another group were females , we were .
all in swim suits .

I can honestly say , and am sure the men were sober ,  the mens conversations were fulll of the F word , and mother F etc , this seemed to go on for ages and the women all remained silent .

One would have thought as surely some of the men must have been officers or NCOS , an effort could have been made to spare the women hearing all this !!

Just some useless information in passing .

Hugh,

Reminds me of when an Archbishop of Canterbury visited Oz many years ago - he remarked that the Aussies suffer from a lack of adjectives !
