[BITList] Time to smile !? kids ?!

First week of school. My first school was just up the hill from our house - my mother went with me on the first morning, mainly to make sure I got there.  Home I went at noon (we only did a half day).  "And how do you like school?" she asked me. "I don't," was my reply, "I'm not going back." She explained that it wasn't a trial - I'd have to go every day thereafter.  That didn't make me all that happy.  Shortly thereafter I tapped a classmate on the shoulder - he was sitting in front of me - and pointed out to him that there was only one Miss Chalmers and plenty of us.  So why were we submitting to being sat here when we could be elsewhere having fun?  Up went his hand.  "Please Miss, Hugh Mcintyre said ...."  She frowned at him and gave me a sad smile.
