What a lot of BULL!
Alexander Graham Bell did not invent the telephone, or to identify the the problem of making communication easier.  
Bell & Watson commercialised the system of electromagnetic telephon (the word used by J.P. Reis) to MAKE MONEY.

The waving of the hands by the presenter could be a poor imitation for those with impaired hearing.  (The twisting of her mouth is possibly a twitch from licking the sauce from big Macs).
