People should really stop using the words "race" and "racist" (a weasel word if ever there was one) as a basis for comments on people from other cultures and nationalities, be they French, Dutch, Australian, Sudanese, or even British, Jews or Sikhs.  Race is an oumoded and unscientific concept that should have died with the Nazis who propagated its attendant philosophy with such dire results.  When the Neanderthals ceased to be a race distinct from Homo Sapiens, the word ceased to have any meaning - there was only Jock Tamson's bairns.

Jokes don't worry me - if it isn't the Scots or the Irish, it's someone else.
