I'd seen it before, but it's still funny, heart warming even.

Peter McDougall, playwright and author, was dining in a Glasgow restaurant with friends. They were having a good time, which was interrupted by an angry prat waving a mobile phone.  Apparently his many and interminable phone calls were being made difficult by the social sounds of Peter and his friends. Peter took the phone from him and cast it out a window. "This is a restaurant", he told him, "not a $£%&ing phone box."
