[BITList] Stolen Pensions

It is possible I am not getting the complete picture so tell me - at what ever age citizens of Australia are eligible to receive a government pension, do folks in the same situation as you get the usual amount or is it less and if so why? 
(For example to get a US pension at least 40 quarterly contributions must be made, meaning contributions for at least 10 years).

Do folks in your situation who contributed to the uk scheme prior to departure for Australia  receive any pension or benefits from the uk government upon reaching retirement age?
