Mike,

Yes, it appears pie in the sky to me.
nothing is going to keep a floating ship from rolling and pitching – not even flume or pods, in high winds and a heavy swell.
it’s against nature and I’m not putting my money into the venture.

I’m reminded about the Flume system.  I was on a 80K Tanker, in Denholms,  where it was retro fitted.  Then they reduced the freeboard thus increasing the D.W.   When changing ballast after tank cleaning the ship used to list  quite a bit until the SW was above the holes in the longitudanal bulkheads.  When loaded the system was of no use as the cargo had to fill more of the midship tanks plus the ship had no bilge keels.  You had to be careful when entering ports with a shallow entrance channel as the ship would roll !
