interesting reading, thanks John

it brought back memories of my voyage to India in ‘Corfu’ and my posting to the elite British India Kofta Corp as a young Doxford Ensign.
After completing my 32 month spell of duty [and promotion to Doxford Watch Oberensign], I returned from the sunny climes of the glorious Gulf in the ‘Strathnaver’, to a cold, wet and miserable Tilbury in January.
What a merry jape the 32 months was – and all washed down with copious quantities of Tennant’s lager.
