The poor soldier vs. the psychiatrist-murderer
 
After reading the recent headlines about the US soldier who shot & killed Afghanistani civilians, I couldn’t help but notice an inconsistency.  There is clamor to try this soldier quickly and execute him, never mind his having suffered a traumatic brain injury with PTSD while in his 4th tour of duty in the mideast.
 
Yet this muslim Major Hasan, who shot up Fort Hood, TX while screaming 'allah akbar,' still hasn’t stood trial.  And the military is still debating whether he was insane, even with the clear evidence regarding his motive: slay as many infidels as possible.
 
So, we have a soldier in a war zone who cracks, and the authorities clamour that he must be tried and executed immediately.  But we have a muslim psychiatrist who is stateside in a nice comfy office all day and who murders 13, wounds 29 of our own guys, and the same authorities argue the poor lad suffered post-traumatic stress syndrome from listening to real soldiers who had actual battle experience.  Two and a half years later, they still haven’t tried that case!
