Maybe The Donald's endorsement isn't such a good thing for Mitt Romney, after all.

A sizable 41% of Nevada Facebook users say Donald Trump's recent endorsement of the Republican presidential candidate negatively affects their view of the ex-Massachusetts governor, according to a new poll.

That's in comparison to just 9.6% who say Trump's backing positively affects their view of Romney.

Meanwhile, according to the Facebook/Politico poll, roughly half — 49% — say the real estate mogul's endorsement doesn't matter either way.

The poll was released Saturday, the day of the Silver State caucuses, which Romney is expected to sweep.

Trump isn't the only GOP figure that has a negative effect on a candidate. According to a recent Pew poll, Trump tied Sarah Palin with 28% of respondents saying either of their endorsements would make them less likely to vote for a candidate they back.

The Politico poll surveyed 1,150 adult Facebook users in Nevada on Friday
