[BITList] Vale Rex Nicholls

Salaams,

I don't know if anyone on this list remembers Rex Nicholls but sadly Rex
passed away early yesterday morning after a few weeks illness, although he
had not been in good health for sometime. Rex only did one spell in BI
1953-57 having done his apprenticeship in E&A along with Spike Foreman and
myself. Possibly someone may have met him while he was ashore with Brisbane
Wooldumpers ( A P&O Stevedoring Company). Rex has a son who is a Brisbane
pilot.

It would be appreciated by myself if there was anyone in Brisbane who could
represent the BI at Rex's funeral, if so I could forward the details.
