[BITList] Engineers' Lunch

Yesterday (the 15th) I attended the annual lunch in Glasgow of the BI Retired Engineers Association.  As always, a most enjoyable day and evening, sipping non ardent liquors and singing revival hymns to the rhythm of the tambourine.  But I lie - there was no tambourine.

Though half a dozen members passed away since the last lunch, membership is up by three. And, as last year, a surplus in the funds allowed a free drink to all. Roll on next year.
