Two of the shootings stemmed from disputes inside nightclubs, including an incident in which a bouncer was shot in the chest outside a French Quarter lounge, according to New Orleans police logs released Monday.
The crimes, from late Friday night through Sunday, occurred in neighborhoods across the city and do not appear to be related.

On Friday night, a 38-year-old woman was stabbed in the face after a dispute in the 8200 block of Chef Menteur Highway in eastern New Orleans. She was taken to the hospital and listed in good condition. Police did not release additional details.

Also on Friday night, at about 9:30 p.m., police discovered a 20-year-old man had been fatally shot inside a vehicle near the intersection of Dwyer Road and Bullard Avenue in eastern New Orleans. Authorities later identified the victim as Kendrick Morris, of New Orleans.

Early Saturday, at about 4 a.m., a 30-year-old woman was shot as she slept in her bed in the 9000 block of Palm Street in Hollygrove. The bullet passed through the woman's apartment wall and struck her in the hip. Police did not release additional details.

At 2:45 p.m., a 26-year-old man was shot once in the hand by a bicycle-riding gunman in the 1800 block of Gen. Ogden Street. The victim was leaving the house when he spotted an unknown man on a bike. The bicyclist pulled out a handgun and began firing. Police did not release additional details.

The city's next shooting took place just a few blocks away, shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday. Two men, ages 56 and 38, were shot outside the Young at Heart lounge in the 1500 block of Monroe Street. The men were leaving the lounge when shots rang out. The 56-year-old victim was shot in the back. The 38-year-old man was shot in the right calf. Police did not release additional details.

At about 2:40 a.m. Sunday, a fight between patrons and a bouncer erupted inside the Voila club in the 300 block of Decatur Street in the French Quarter. A club patron fired several time at the club's bouncer, a 40-year-old man, outside the lounge. The bouncer was shot in the chest. He was later listed in stable condition. Police said the shooter was about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighed about 160 pounds, wearing a light-blue button-down shirt.
