John,

These are American Old Farts. I am pretty near a British one, but I never sing the National Anthem.  I would stand out, since nobody else sings it.  And I stand respectfully, but not to attention, not being ex-Service.  The Boy Scouts don't count - they were never ones for drill.  And I don't like National Anthems in general, but I except the Welsh and the French.
