Did you notice that, while ostensibly dealing with "retirement sex", every anecdote portrays "good woman lumbered with stupid or redundant man"? Somebody once gave my wife a little fridge magnet thing that reads, "I have a full time job, it's called a retired husband."  It's upside down on the side of my filing cabinet, hence a recent question from a passer by, "Why is it upside down?"  Two guesses.
