I recall my mother used to make a version of macaroni with milk for a sweet, though we didn't call it a sweet - it was just something to eat.  In Denmark, sodavand (soda water) is the generic term for fizzy drinks. I assume it includes actual soda water, which could be awkward if one ended up with a whisky and coca cola. I didn't drink whisky in Denmark outside of New Year, and I never put soda water in it, so I can't say.
