They talk about (now) having fully understood the issue - what's the issue, and what's to understand about it?  It's bloody simple. Poppies have been sold and worn for some generations without them even noticing, that's the issue.  And as for "supporting" those who wear them (between now and Remembrance Day) ??  WTF does that mean?  We support the people who sell them, and the people who benefit from the sale.  Nobody needs support to wear one.  Support against what?  Firms like Hollisters?  Glasgow Celtic supporters?
