would seem that there was something seriously amiss with the generator 
controls that they managed to suck gas especially on a state of the art 
almost new rig
it was good to see that the evacuation went well as one of the things we 
all learnt from Piper Alpha was that everyman for himself meant just 
that and when the crunch comes you really have to rely on your own instincts
