[BITList] airline helping the poor!

well, hugh

AFAIK, unbudleing appears to present a major problem because not paying for some of the bundle would result in one not getting a ticket [e.g. booking fee, waiting in line fee, credit card usage fee, etc.].

banks/credit card - they are not content with charging ridiculous interest rates but, as you say, think almost daily of new charges to add on.

however, here the banks pay off enough politicians to look after the bank's best interests, that REAL change is bordering on the impossible.

I have not heard of small claims courts here considering claims for unfair charges.

Colin,

Suppose I get an urge to unbundle a service, how should I start? This sort of crap is now endemic. BA's lawyers sought anti-strike injunctions on the unions over trivial aspects of voting, and got away with it, though I believe the tide is turning. Banks in the UK, faced with multiple claims for unfair charges in small claims courts, have successfully got it changed to sheriff courts (in Scotland - don't know the English equivalent). This means claimants would face unlimited legal costs.

Hugh.
