So, what's wrong with these scenes? All good, efficient solutions as far as I can see.  I didn't much like the lad working below a 2 ton boulder held up by twigs, but as long as he's happy, who am I to quibble?  We might fall off a few things, but we get the job done. As long as the turning gear was in, I'd go into any crankcase in the world.
