It's not from the Harry Lauder Joke Book.  Angus could have explained, and 
I'm sure Mr MacDonald would have been understanding.  It reminds me of 
another joke about button sewing on trousers, but I can't recall the start 
of it. Incidentally, was Angus a wee bit Irish?  And was there not once a 
jingle on BBC Radio that went, "My name is Angus Broon, and I always tune, 
into I'm Sorry I'll Read That Again."
