Colin,

Just this morning I was at a meeting, and one of the group mentioned that his son had had his name tattooed on his ankle in Chinese lettering.  So the Dad took a photo of it and asked the wife of the local Chinese carry-out place what it said.  She grasped her biceps and waved her fist in the well known sign for we all know what. On seeing this, her husband came across and claimed it only meant "a strong boy".
