pronounced "tar'an", the glo'al stop having been brought north by

immigrants fleeing association with Eastenders. And "tart" can often be
said as "tar' ", ie, a glo'al stop at the end (hard to achieve by non
natives). So, that's another good joke spoiled for ever.
