???????????? my God Hugh you'll be bringing the Gulags back next! Mind you most of the bastards belong there, how often have we seen the a'holes on the news boasting about their fast boats, Ferrari's, champagne binging, loose women (lucky in this respect) and high rise dockland apartments etc., rammed down our bloody throats, in fact supported by Gordon as our major industry, service and financial I believe its called, methinks its the only one left. What has always cracked me up is the second & third mortgage market that exist solely to fund exotic holidays and private education, we'll no doubt be expected to wring our hands in sympathy for these poor souls as well.

When we bought the shares out on my late father in laws farm from my sister in law and MIL the price they were asking bore no resemblance to its worth. At my expense I got a local notaire to visit the farm and asked for a valuation and this was the figure my wife and I offered, THEY were not happy bunnies and demanded their price, some twenty five per cent higher than the notaires, during protracted arguments on the phone with my brother in law, bless him, I declared that not only was the farm not worth it but I couldn't afford their asking price anyway, to which, without a break in breath he announced he could arrange a loan that would carry over to our sons after our deaths, he is an estate agent, I can't bring myself to speak to him to this day, the loan incidently was with a Swiss bank, I can only assume its left over money deposited during the Second World War.
