I recall having to send a correction a few years ago to the editor of a magazine, on reading the misleading statement that HMS Ocean was built in Govan and completed in Barrow. Wikipedia still perpetrate the same myth. I worked on her with Kvaerner Govan from when the order was placed until she left for Barrow. She sailed from Govan under her own power as a vessel complete in all but (as I described it to the magazine) the kinds of military things the MOD do not allow commercial yards to fit.  She had spaces with angle bar welded to support this and that box of tricks - "for but not with" is the description used in such cases.  I remember her well.
