There was another, admittedly minor, Roman way to the west in Scotland a little further north than the Blatobulgium to Erigonium road shown.  This ran from the fort at Whitemoss near present day Bishopton, over the moor south of the Clyde to a fortlet on the Lurg Moor above Greenock (still visible, been there), then to another at present day Outerwards near Skermorlie. The Whitemoss fort commanded the western end of the Antonine Wall - a chain ran across the river from the shore to Old Kilpatrick on the north bank.
