I heard that random strangers were dragged off the street and had their heads smashed into the bells to make the chimes. Their lifeless bodies would be hurled from the bell tower to the street below, The bishop stumbled over a body and said " Who is this?" and was told, "I don`t know, but his face rings a bell......"
