07-11-2016: "Wooden Boat from the time of Jesus", people call it: The Jesus Boat. see www.Jesusboats.com. is sailing from Ginnosar on the Sea of Galilee with the KHC member flag no.312 Amsterdam.  HolyLand Sailing has been operating in the Sea of Galilee for more than 20 years. The late Reuben Ben-Dori, a recognized pioneer in the Israeli tourist industry was inspired by the discovery of the famous 2000 year old boat in 1986, to re-create a spiritual experience for Christian believers on the Sea of Galilee. This was the beginning of HolyLand Sailing. It was decided to build only wooden boats in order to provide the visitor with the authentic experience as is imagined existed in the time of Jesus and his disciples. The first boats were built in Egypt on the banks of the Nile River more than 2 decades ago. Today, the fleet, the services and the company have grown. The company is run by a group of people, together with Ben-Dori sons, who have combined their love for the Galilee area, their vast tourism experience and their dedication to provide first-class service to all our visitors.Our crew consists of well experienced and professional skippers who are also dedicated to ensure that the sail is an unforgettable spiritual experience.
