I got rather lost among the statistics.  I'll say one thing - the "Muslim world"  is anything but a coherent whole, thinking as one on any subject. In Glasgow the main mosque, ie, the organisation running it, is now split 3-ways.  There is a highly vocal large group of younger male members who are firmly opposed to the views of the diehard conservatives who currently run things, and an equally vocal group of feminist ladies who seek radical changes in the roles permitted to women.  Maybe it's just the way things are done in Glasgow, but it doesn't look much like part of a movement to take over the world.

It's back to rain and very cold here after a few days with some sun and very cold.
