The Glasgow sets doubled as 1940s New York, with the entrance to Kelvingrove (Art Gallery) used to replicate Carnegie Hall. Kersland Street in the heart of the city's west end was lined with vintage cars, American lampposts, trash cans and water hydrants."

There is a suburb called Kelvin Grove quite close to the city centre of Brisbane.

QUT [the Queensland University of Technology] is located in the suburb and I went there many times during my teaching career because the Queensland Computer Teachers Society had an annual meeting there.

A very nice suburb.
