A couple of months ago, I was travelling on the underground to Liverpool, on Mersey Rail you are not supposed to put your feet on the seats in front of you. A youth, about 18, sat down, across the aisle from me and put his feet on the seat.  I said to him “You are not supposed to put your feet on the seat, you could have dog dirt on your shoes.”  This idiot then checked both soles of his shoes and put his feet at the side of the cushion !  You can’t win !
