I disbelieve all such "anouncements" on principle. There is serious talk in the media of removing all mention of  creationism from what is taught as science in English schools, based on the fact that the world (however defined) wasn't created in October some 4,000 years ago, but the Holocaust happened, hence it's history, hence someone is making it up.
