HASTINGS MENTIONS CHURCHILL,S MISTAKES AND FOIBLES , BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY , HE WAS A GREAT WAR LEADER THE BEST AND ONLY ONE WE HAD CHURCHILL           HELD        UK           TOGETHER         WHEN INVASION WAS A REAL THREAT , AND IF IT WAS NOT FOR CHURCHILL , THE WORLD   WOULD      BE A DIFFERENT PLACE TODAY  , HE SAVED THE WORLD , DESPITE SOME PEOPLE CALLING HIM WAR MONGERER   HIS SOLE PURPOSE WAS TO SAVE BRITAIN FROM INVASION AND DESTRUCTION , ALSO FOR THE EMPIRE .

HOW SAD IT IS TO SEE THE SORRY STATE OF THE UNITED KINGDOM AND HOW WE SEEM TO        HAVE    LOST         OUR      STATUS   AND     LONG   AGO EMPIRE 

SORRY IF ALL THIS IS DEPRESSIVE I READ THE WEEKLY TELEGRAPH    AND WONDER  WHY           IT ALL         SEEMS SO    SAD  SOME   OF   US      WE    SHOULD NOT FOR GET OUR PAST HISTORY
