G’day folks,

http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/sep/19/i-do-not-want-to-see-innocent-until-proven-muslim-in-australia?CMP=ema_632 <http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2014/sep/19/i-do-not-want-to-see-innocent-until-proven-muslim-in-australia?CMP=ema_632>

I refer to the last sentence here.

"Attorney-General George Brandis’s National Security Legislation Amendment Bill <http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/jul/16/journalists-face-jail-leaks-security-laws> will grant immunity from civil and criminal liability to participants in special intelligence operations. Asio agents, and anyone else listed as a participant, will not be able to kill, inflict serious injury, or commit a sexual offence. But nothing will prevent them, Australians all, from doing what was done to the Guildford Four. Worse, Brandis’s Bill proposes to gag journalists and bloggers if they tell anyone, with a 10 year gaol term if they do.”

That is un-Australian.

Anathema to the people of this country.

Shame on the LNP for proposing such a law.

Shame on a Lawyer who is also the Attorney-General of this country.

What a blot on an honourable institution of the Australian Government.
