[BITList] Royal Air Force - HSL 2750 - Air Sea Rescue vessel.

These vessels, from memory, were fitted with triple Napier Sea Lion engines -  although my memory thinks that the engines were twin RR Griffin engines, one of which were fitted to later version of the Spitfire. They used starter cartridges that looked like shotgun cartridges.

I travelled on one when I was based at RAF Butterworth, in Malaysia back in the early 1960s.

Here’s a photo of the one that I travelled on HSL 2750 just off the beach at Bidan Island where there was a bombing range.
