Arthurs Pass between Greymouth and Christchurch but in summer it is certainly not like this!!! 

It is a designated coal transport line, but passenger trains can use it also.  Best scenery in N.Z.!!!!

The Pass is in the mountains between the East and West coasts of the Sth Is. NZ.
