One of the Gambling fraternity, Paddie Power asked the public to bet  (if they wanted) on whether Oscar Pistorius would get off in the court case in S. Africa.

There were over 5,000 complaints to the Company and a petition with 125,000 signatures was handed in at the Advertising Standards Agency.  The Agency said it would cause widespread  offence and they removed this bet.

The Public are waiting for Paddie’s apology !
