g’day folks,

I am pleased to announce that we had a none eventful trip home.

Perth to Balladonia.

Balladonia to Ceduna.

Ceduna to Wilcania. 

Wilcania to Charleville.

And Charleville to Townsville. 

We saw quite a few kangaroos but none that gave us a heart stopping moment. Plenty of road kill though.

We had one very pleasant moment on the run up to Charleville. Helma was driving when she saw something
in the distance and brought the car to a halt without excessive use of the brakes. When we came to a stop we were surrounded on all sides by a flock/gaggle/group of emus - the collective noun for these birds is a “mob of emus! Large and small, very close to the car. They took no notice of us at all and wandered off in their own time. 

We arrived home just after dark after a 5 day run. The car ran sweetly mainly on cruise control hour after hour.

I’ll write up the total journey later this week.

I have taken nearly three hours to clean up the computer area as it hasn’t has a spring clean for some time now.

The only bad thing was waking up this morning at 0545 hrs. We have been doing this every morning, in order to get up before sun-up. I’ll stay up late tonight to give us a later rise and shine time tomorrow.  :-)
