It took a while, almost on the Final, but it has happened - 1966 has come up. A Tory MP, unable any longer to contain his disappointment at England leaving in the early stages, as opposed to 1966 when they did a good deal better, has decided what England needs for future World Cups is the inclusion of world class players from Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. Who these world class players are, he doesn't say - a hint would have helped - but never mind.
