Mike,

The only ship repair place left on the Clyde (that I know of) is the Garvel 
Graving Dock, at the JamesWatt Dock in Greenock here, but your email causes 
me to wonder if it's still in the repair business. The James Watt Dock still 
functions, though it ceased to be a Wet Dock when they removed the gates, 
and the CalMac vessels are often in there.  I'll look into it.
