Time will tell. It certainly looks the part. When I was with Odense 
Staalskibsvaerft in the mid 60s, one of the Maersk vessels delivered not 
long before lost her bulbous bow.  Her performance was adversely affected, 
which would seem to go some way to showing the value of a bulbous bow. 
Within an hour of getting the news, a notice was put up in the 
Maskinafdeling offering a reward to the finder - I wrote it and Henning 
Jensen put it into Danish.
