Mike,

Very funny, and she has my sympathy. The closest we ever came to that sort 
of thing was in the early years of our marriage, when my wife's best friend 
came to dinner with her husband. They looked askance at the plates and 
sniffed each forkful.  I don't think they liked it, but we made damned sure 
they ate it, and we didn't repeat the invitation.
