Earlier on this afternoon I was listening to Alex Salmond speaking at a conference for the Independence of Scotland.  He decried the present Govt’s treatment of the poor and promised to immediately cancel the punitive Bedroom Tax if elected.

He spoke very well and made a v. good case for Scotland to become independent.
