Of course there is one rule for the rich and one for the poor – that’s how our politicians have designed it for the rich who pay them to do so.

Every working class person [99.9% of the population] should have the following book by their bedside so they can continually refer to it :-

“Winner-Take-All Politics. How Washington [and London] made the Riche Richer and Turned Their Backs on the Middle Class” by Jacob S.Hacker and Paul Pierson.

It is mainly concerned with the US but the same system of making the rich richer has been employed very effectively in the UK. Politicians in both political parties in the US and UK have played their part in bringing this about - having been well paid to do so by the rich. 

The book is the clearest explanation yet of the forces that converged over the past three decades or so to undermine the economic well-being of ordinary citizens.
