[BITList] Australians Killed in Afghanistan

The Aussie Govt has transported the relatives of all the 40 personnel killed in Afghanistan, to the Australian Base in Afghanistan for a Memorial service.

The Australians will all be out of Afghanistan before Christmas.

Only the Aussies would think of doing something like this.

The following lines were cut by a soldier in a stone sentry-box at Gibraltar: 

"God and the soldier all men adore. 
In time of trouble, and no more; 
For when war is over, 
And all things righted, 
God is neglected; 
And the old soldier slighted."
