Appears the BBC TV [and sometimes radio] will not stream programs to markets outside uk.

I believe I read somewhere that the reason is copyright difficulties.

there is a free and, if you wish, a paid way of getting round this - by using a proxy server in uk which gives the bbc site a web address [url] in uk.

sometimes I use it and I think mike or john mentioned it before.
