agree – panama canal locks are 33.2 m wide, this canal is reportedly going to be bigger all round!

the guardian’s correspondent Jonathan Watts is an incompetent – not unusual in the journalism world in this day and age.

Something wrong here, they have the width of the new Canal to be 20 metres = 65.6 feet ?
