[BITList] Coast Guard: Cruise ship fire started with leaking fuel-oil line

uscg says fire started when leaking fuel fell on hot generator exhaust [omg – how many times have we heard that?], this was observed by eoow on tv who raised alarm and started extinguishing.
there are reportedly 2 gen rooms with 3 gens in each, other gen room ok.
so how was all power lost and ship died in water?
enquiring minds want to know?
