Some interesting numbers

Last Thursday and Friday in the US (Thanksgiving week-end - traditionally one of the busiest for sales):

Apple had $543 million USD in sales for iPads and iPhones - the iPad took 77% of those sales ($417 million) and the iPhone 23% ($126 million)

Total Android based device sales came in at $148 million USD -  with Android based tablets sharing $42million USD of that figure.

The Android system is used in Samsung, HTC devices etc.

Apple’s iOS sales were 18.1% of ALL on-line sales - Android managed 3.5%
