Mike, I read about "good opportunities for pigeon shooting" in Kent. Up here we've got the "Glorious Twelfth", when all sorts of prats blast innocent grouse out of the sky. This is now being looked on with disfavour. I don't believe the casual shooting of other birds at other times is permitted. Hugh.
